A new project!

Hello all.... it has been a while since I created, so I made this altered computer board for a couple challenges this month! It was fun to get messy again, and I really do need to create every day for the rest of the year.

I created this for Words & Paintery October challenge. Here is the gorgeous colors we were to use...
Don't you just love those blues, greens and shimmery gold together? I know I took my inspiration from this to create my mixed media computer board.

I also used the beautiful moodboard over at Mixed Media & Art for this months challenge....

I love the dreaminess of this mood board and the colors with pops of gold!

One last challenge I made this for was over at Mixed Media World , where we could use anything mixed media as well as glass or imitation glass. I used glass gem stones to add a pop of sparkle to my dreamy piece.

Thanks for taking a peek!

true LOVE

Hi there! It has been ages since my last post! It is amazing how life gets in the way of my creating!

I made a photo frame for my dear son and his girlfriend for a couple of challenges this month! I love altering items using mixed media and just had to do something with the photo I used....it was just to adorable not to!

First off, from  Mixed Media World, we had to go from Scrap to Masterpiece for this month's challenge..... so I pulled out a frame I have had forever, gessoed it. and added an assortment of bits and pieces I have had for a long time!

After adding layers and layers of spray inks, I finally got the look I was searching for...

I am also using this for the 2nd year anniversary over at Mixed Media Monthly, where we are to use a challenge from the past year. I chose #23, Dimension.

Using flowers, wood veneers, and random metal pieces, I have added dimension to this frame...

Thanks for taking a peek!
