I made a quick little mixed media tag using some spray ink for the background, some embossed numbers and edging, a little girl and a snarky quote!

Try it on Tuesday - Black & White + one colour

 Good Morning all! I made a simple snarky little page the the new challenge at

 Try it on Tuesday

Black & White + one colour (my favourite combo!).

Like I said, this was a simple quick spread to do but it did get rid of some negative feelings I had, so that's good!

Just a stencil , sprayed ink, added a photo, some washi tape and a sentiment.... easy!

Tag Tuesday - School Days

 Hi all.. again! Do you believe, I have created 3 projects in the past 2 days! Yahoo!

This tag was made for an awesome challenge over at Tag Tuesday with the theme as 

School Days

I loved this challenge! I used some old October Afternoon papers from my stash, some molding paste through a Tim Holtz stencil, some washi, some ink through a stencil, a bit of doodling, my favourite little student and a sentiment.

Try it on Tuesday - Make it Colourful

 Good Morning all! It's been a while, but I promise myself I WILL do more art! LOL!  So I just had to do some colourful play in my art journal for the latest challenge at

Kept it pretty simple, used a gelli print I have had forever, some splatters, some stencil butter in turquoise, my little rebel lady, and doodles. Nothing fancy but I get a bit messy!

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - #253- S is for Summer

 Hello all! It has been a while since I have actually sat down and spent some much needed me time to get to some art... and what better way to get out of my slump than with an awesome challenge from the Sistahs at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

I usually love Summer, but I have to say, I'm glad it's over! Wasn't one of my best ones..... but it's almost over, fall is near, and I am playing!

So, I made an art journal page for the challenge...

S is for Summer

I started out by listing all the things I wanted to get done this summer, added some gesso, some splatters, some gelli print papers I have had laying in my stash for a while, some washi tape, my favourite lady and a quote! Pretty simple, but hey.. I arted!!

More Than Words - Complimentary Colours

 Hi all! More Than Words has a fantastic challenge this month....

COMPLIMENTARY COLOURS

It has been ages since I created and this challenge is just what I needed to get my art-y butt in gear! LOL! Blues and Orange... my favourite complimentary colour combo!

I used some distress paints, some stencils, some orange acrylic paint, white marker, washi tape, my little person and a quote! What a great challenge and such fabulous inspiration from the design team! You really need to check it out!

I used some distress spray for the background, some stencils, book pages , my favourite little reading girl, and a quote. Nothing earth-shattering but it was fin to play.

SOSS #247 - W is for Winter

 Hi all! A day playing and I just had to do the new challenge over at

 Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

W is for Winter

I made a card having spread a bunch of paint underneath, applied a stencil on top and wiped away some of the paint. I then embossed some snowflakes with white. I added my little girl, some washi, some splatters and of course, a little snarky saying!
