 Today at Try it on Tuesday, we have a new challenge up for the next couple of weeks...

"Numbers"

I made an art journal page for todays challenge. I painted the background, wiped off some through a stencil, added some modling paste through a number stencil, added some stamping of numbers and used white embossing on those. I then added my washi tape, my little thinker guy, and a sentiment. 

I also have to let you know, that this will be my last post for the Design Team at Try it on Tuesday.  I have had so much fun playing with the design team and getting to know them all... they are the best bunch in my opinion!  I have loved seeing all your wonderful creations.  Life happens and I need some time to just be.

Art Journal Journey - Trees Are Awesome. Aren't They?

 Hello all! It is time for me to start taking time for me, and not worrying about everyone else! 

So back to art-ing and this art journal page is for this months challenge at Art Journal Journey

'Trees Are Awesome. Aren't They?'

I used some spray inks for the background, blended them together, added some yellow splatters. I used a France Papillon tree stamp and embossed that with black embossing power. I drew some wonky roots and added some asemic journaling

Thanks for the great challenge ladies, and just the kick in the pants I needed to get back to my art!

Try it on Tuesday - Make your own background

Good morning all! Todays challenge at Try it on Tuesday

is a fun one and one I do all the time... 

"Make your own Background"

I made an art journal spread for this! I first added gesso to my page, then added some blues and purple acrylic paints and smooched that around. Before it dried, I placed a stencil down and used a baby wipe to remove some of the paint. I then added some squares and circles, my butterfly and Create. A fun one to do!

Try it on Tuesday - Make it Cute

 Good morning all! Today at Try it on Tuesday,

I made an art journal spread for the challenge. I sprayed some inks in the background, added some ink through a stencil, cut out some images from Tandi Arts Cut and Collage magical book (love her style and these cut outs make life fun!). Added some splatters, and done!

 Good morning and Happy Spring! 

This next two weeks at Try it on Tuesday, the new challenge is...

Hopefully it will arrive soon... still snow on the ground here! 

Sorry the photo is a bit dark, but this is what it's like outside now! LOL!.

 Hi all! I had a month off and back now... healthy and sound! Sort of! LOL!

I am not a girly girl, so this is about as feminine as you will get from me! Some scrapbook pages for the background, some bead work around the circle, my sassy little girl and some splatters!

Good morning all! Today at Try it on Tuesday,

I made a fun journal page using under paper with text on it, covered with acrylic paint and smudged some off through a stencil. I then outlined some wonky circles and added black splatters, my photo and a snarky sentiment! It was fun to get messy again!

Try it on Tuesday - It's Cold Outside

 Happy New Years to all! And yes, it is cold out here in Southern Ontario!

The very first challenge for the New Year at Try it on Tuesday is

"It's Cold Outside"

For this challenge I made an art journal spread... paint through a stencil, some modling paste

through another, my cute little snowman shivering outside in the frigid weather of January!

ATC Around the World - Snowman

 Happy New Year to all! For the first challenge at ATC Around the World,

our first ATC challenge for 2026 is 

"Snowman"

I made a "cool" background using some acrylic paint and splatters, with some modling paste through a stencil, added my funky little snowman and a cozy sentiment!
