Art Journal Journey - Hold the Line

 Good morning all!

It is a rainy, dreary day today, so a great time to catch up on some challenges!

I made this art journal spread for Art Journal Journey ! The challenge tis month is

"Hold the Line".

I made this page doing a background of different colors of Dylusions paints, with a layer of white gesso over top to tone it down. I used the same colors to make lines on my spread using a credit card. I added some splatters, some washi, a photo of my son and a quote! A fun colorful project to do on this dreary day!

Thanks for the great challenge ladies! It was a fun one!

Happy Creating!

Art Journal Journey - Dreams

Hi everyone! This month's challenge at Art Journal Journey is all about Dreams or wishes! I choose to do an art journal spread about Dreams! Lots of ink, paint, stamping and doodling the background, with a little girl and word stickers! Thanks for the great challenge!

 Thanks for talking a peek!

Black and White and Stripes

Hello all! I finally took some time for myself to art! I made an art journal spread in my Dina Wakley mixed media journal for a couple challenges today!

The first challenge is for The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog. September challenge is to use black and white on a project. I love black and white and this was just want I needed to get inspired!

Here is my art journal spread using black and white and some rubber stamps as needed!

I also love snarky, so this little sentiment was perfect! LOL!!!

Here is a shot of the products and stamps used for this little spread... the rubber stamps were carabella.

I am also going to enter this into the challenge at Art Journal Journey challenge blog as well. This month we are to use polka-dots, stripes, plaids or patterns in our art journals, and this I did! What great challenges to kick start my day of playing and getting messy!

Thanks for taking a peek!
