January DT Challenges at SOS!

It's 2013!! And a New Year... so for this challenge you must use NEW products and 13 embellishments of any kind!!

52 weeks of Lists!

That is right... over at the Sisterhood of Scrap , join us for 52 weeks of lists!!

You can make a recipe card file (that is my intent), you can make a tag, do a layout, art journal.. anything at all!!

This first week we had to list our favourite colours right now...

My fave colours right now are the Dylusions spray inks... Vibrant Turquoise, Bubblegum Pink, and Crushed Grape!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those names... they sound so yummy!!

"Looking Forward" and my "2013 Word of the Year!"

Happy New Years.. again my friends! May your year be filled with fun times and happiness!!

My very first project this year is my word for 2013.. and it is NO!! 

Yes, that is right.. NO!  I really have decided that it is time I learn to say NO! 

NO to procrastinating; NO to doing things for others that I really don't want to do (not in a mean way of course..!);

NO to the negatives in my life; and to remember that NO is an Answer!!

I created this art journal page for me to reflect on thought the year and make sure I stick to it...

It also works well with the challenge at  A Year in the Life of an Art Journal , Looking Forward! and using a grid! I used washi tape under the acrylic paint as grid lines.. hope that works!

This is also the first art journal challenge of many at the Sisterhood of Scrap where we have to art journal our "Word of the Year".

I can't believe it??? It is 2013 and I am still here!! LOL!!!

Well.. with a New year, coomes a few resolutions I must keep for myself....

one is to blog FREQUENTLY!! I don't think that once every 3 months counts!! LOL!!

So look out!! Here is my first one!
