Your true Hair Color AJ spread!

Hi everyone! We are still in lock down in Ontario and I miss my hairdresser the most! So, I thought I would do an art journal spread in my 8" x 5" moleskin watercolor journal today!

First, I embossed my zigzag lines and circles with my Carabelle studio art stamp,"Taches et coutures" using black archival ink with Ranger black embossing powder over it to make it stand out. I then used some blue and orange watercolors smeared on a plastic sheet that I dabbed on my background and sprinkled some droplets to add the splatters in the background. Next, I used an image from the internet, cut out these 2 sassy ladies and outlined in a brown watercolor pencil. Added my quote and some striped washi to finish it off!

I had fun making this little spread!!! And am going to enter it into the following
challenges just for fun!

Country View Challenges - Tea Party - WON Top 3
Creative Artiste #60 - Anything goes Mixed Media
Simon Says Stamps - Monday Challenge - Spritz and Splatters
Happy Little Stampers - Watercolor and Emboss
More Than Words - Stripes and Funny - WON Mystery Winner

I do hope you all show your true colors during these trying times!

Thanks for taking a peek!
