Hi everyone! I needed to journal today as I was in a grumpy way! But that soon dissipated after I worked in my art journal! LOL!
So, what a perfect opportunity to journal away in my art journal and use it
for a challenge at The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog
I needed to get some thoughts down on paper and out of my head.. so I used my 8" x 8" Dylusions journal (one of my favorite I must say) and started writing down all the things that have been bugging me this past few days! Needless to say, I needed this exercise today! LOL!
One thing I LOVE about journaling like this is that I am the only one who knows what is written! I was going to paint over it, like I usually do, but today, I just used some HUGE Memory Keepers stamps I have had for ages, stamped my saying, added my splatters, and voila! Done! I feel 100% better!!!
I do hope this qualifies for journaling! LOL!!
Thanks for taking a peek and have a super day! I know I will now!

DeleteGlad it helped. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anesha!
DeleteBrilliant... that's a great way to get stuff out of your system. I may need to give it a go... am fuming quite a lot at the moment!

Thanks Alison! It does help!!! ((HUGS))
DeleteI would say that makes perfect journalling, but what do I know? Another good way to do it is to write in watercolour pencils (Inktense work great) and wash it out afterwards... ask me how I know, lol. Haven't done that for a while, so maybe I will - now is as good a time as any to get stuff out! Brilliant page and graphically beautiful.

Thanks Cath!!! I will try with the inktense pencils next time, though it may be a while!! ((HUGS))
DeleteI would say you had let it go by the time you finished doodling that background. This is a super journal page Helen. I also want to say I am glad to have met you through TIOT as your work is always so inspiring to me. Happy almost weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAhhh... thanks Erika!!! I am so glad I met you too!!! And the doodling is actually my writing.. I wrote across the page, turned the page, wrote some more, turned it diagonally and wrote some more... LOL!! Lots to say!!! ((HUGS))
