ATC Around the World - Autumn

 Good morning all and happy September!  

Today at ATC Around the World, we have a new challenge up for September,

"AUTUMN"

I made a set of 4 ATC's making the word Fall, which to me, is another word for Autumn!

Try it on Tuesday - Going round in Circles

 Good morning all! Today at Try it on Tuesday, we will have you 

"Going round in Circles' 

I painted the background black, then used a large dotted bubble wrap that I roll white onto, then squished it down on the black. There was a bit of blue and red from another project on my bubble wrap but I liked the hint of colour popping through.  Added some white circles using a white writ out pen and circle washi for my little gal!

 Hi everyone! Welcome to August!!!  We have a new challenge at 

Try it on Tuesday for the next couple weeks...

"Summer"

I made a fun little card I am sending to my sister,,,, just because!

I used some old scrapbook paper I had, added some stamping and embossing of the flowers, and fussy cut the dock and "jumpers" enjoying a dip in the pond on this hot August day!

Girlz & the Art of Letters - F

 Hello all! We have a new challenge up at Gilrz & the Art of Letters today.

Make any project, but make sure you use items that 

begin with the letter F. 

I made an art journal spread using forest moss ink for my background colour, frayed burlap ink for the border and through a stencil and of course Four Friends!

Girlz & the Art of Letters - E

 Hi all! Welcome to our first challenge for July at Girlz & the Art of Letters.

For this challenge you must create a project using E found items on your project. 

I made a simple art spread, as I have been busy picking weeds and laying by the poolside! 

I Embossed the black for this crazy gal! This is how I have been feeling lately to be honest! LOL!

I used embossing powder for the E challenge.

Try it on Tuesday - Summer Blooms

 Good morning all and Happy July!

It is the month where the flowers bloom, and what better way to celebrate this is with this challenge 

at Try it on Tuesday 

"Summer Blooms"

For this art journal page, I cut out some flower paper, applied a thin layer of white gesso over it to tone it down, then drew a summer blossom and painted it and added some shading. I added my favourite little girl and a summery quote and voila!

For my art journal page, I used my little girl day dreaming! I also used a die cut for the bottom border she is sitting on, I stamped some dots, and drew a sun!
