 Hello all my creative pals! Today at Try it on Tuesday we have a brand new challenge up for the next couple weeks...

Boss It (emboss)

I love embossing! I usually emboss something somewhere on my projects. I decided to use one stamp from France Papillon to add some embossing to my mix media background. Added a little girl, my sentiment and done!

TIOT - Romance

 Good morning all and Happy February! 

For the next two weeks at Try it on Tuesday, we have a new challenge up for you....

"Romance"

I have to say, this was a tough one for me... not sure why, maybe because I like snarkiness way more than romance! LOL! (Ask my hubby of 40+ years and he will agree!) but I did make a little ATC for this one using some Dina Wakley stamps I have had for ages.

ATC Around the World - Tea or Coffee

 Hello all and Happy February 1st! The time is flying by!

For this month's challenge at ATC Around the World, it is all about 

Tea or Coffee

For this challenge, I applied a used tea bag for my background, some coffee stain splatters, my little girls, a sentiment and a bit of washi tape and a brad.

Try it on Tuesday for the next two weeks....

"Oh What a Night"

For todays challenge I made an art journal page using a piece of patterned paper for the background, added some ink to make it look like a night scene, added some white splatters for stars, embossed some trees, added black gesso at the bottom and wrote out the lyrics to "Oh what a night". It was a fun one to do!

 Good morning all! Happy New Year!

Even though it's a new start to the year, January in Southern Ontario tends to be grey and snowy, so it is kind of a blue month, but... arting helps!

Try it on Tuesday - Santa is coming to Town

 Happy December all, and Merry Christmas!

The last challenge for the year at Try it on Tuesday is 

"Santa is Coming to Town"

For this challenge, I made a scrappy page for my yearly scrapbook of one

Christmas inspired page.

I scrapbooked for years before I got into art journaling and mixed media, and because my boys are grown and they don't want me scrapbook them anymore, I do make a quick page for myself in a Christmas album. 

Nothing fancy, but it was fun to do!

Try it on Tuesday - Traditional Christmas

 Hi everyone! It's starting to feel like Christmas, so what better way to start the festive season but with a challenge at Try it on Tuesday

For the next two weeks we want to see a project reflecting 

"Traditional Christmas"

I made a card for this challenge, and of course I just had to add a bit of snark! We typically do not have turkey at Christmas, no one likes it! But the boys do like stuffing.. so I make stuffing and no turkey! LOL!.
